CJ started working at Kadan Productions in March of 2017, shortly after graduating from Montclair State University with a degree in Theatre Production and Design and a focus in Technical Direction. He began as a freelance welder and stagehand, traveling to notable scene shops and theaters across the Northeast such as Williamstown Theater Festival and Opera Saratoga.

 With extensive knowledge in metal working, carpentry, rigging and drafting he has worked his way upwards to become the Metal Shop Foreman at Kadan. The Met Gala centerpiece was one of his first and most memorable projects and he is most proud of being directly involved as a key member in the fabrication and installation of every Gala since then.

In his free time he enjoys playing basketball, making scrap metal sculptures (@sculpturesbyceej on Instagram), gaming, painting, and spending time with his two cats.
